first race of the season
You may not believe me, but spring is in the air. Yes, it is. Oh, yes, it is! How do I know? Because the racing season has begun! My first race of the season is a Chilly Half Marathon tomorrow morning. My best time for a half is somewhere around 1 hour and 50 minutes, but as we tend to be slower in the winter (maybe just me?), I’d be happy with any time under two hours.
This promises to be a well organized race with a fairly flat course, and chili and beer at the finish. Last stretch to the finish line all up hill! Whoo hoo. Always sprint to the finish. Always sprint to the finish!
